Belly Dance Drills, February 18 – April 8 7:30pm-8:30pm
Belly Dance Drills are doing something – a dance move, turn, a combination – over and over again until its ground into your muscle memory, until it becomes part of your dance body vocabulary, and until you unconsciously do it while standing in line at the grocery store.
Practice it until you don’t have to think about it, until your body just moves exactly the way you want it to. The road there will offer challenges. Your muscles will ache from the hundreds of repetitions you do to get it to that point. Your brain will fog from the intense concentration. But your spirit will squeal in delight when you’ve got it. When it feels right and easy. Then, you’ll know that you’ve turned yourself and your dance into better and greater versions.
